Family Vacation {Day 3}

Dear Hudson,
On Sunday, we headed off to Glacier National Park.  We first went to the Two Medicine area.  It was a pretty and curvy drive into the park.  We went on two quick hikes to Appistoki Falls and Running Eagle Falls.  You really liked the water falls, and of course, throwing rocks into the water.

Then we drove up to the St. Mary's area and set up our campsite and had a quick lunch.  The campground was really nice, but no shade, so we decided to go explore.  We went to the St. Mary's visitor center and then started driving up the Going to the Sun Road.

It was such a pretty drive and we made several stops along the way to see the lake (and throw more rocks).  We drove up to Logan pass, where there was still lots of snow.  We also saw some mountain goats up close and then some big horn sheep in the parking lot.

We headed back to camp and made dinner and then tried to put you to bed.  Mommy & Daddy learned the hard way that the sun doesn't set until 10 pm in northern Montana, so we played in the tent for awhile before you fell asleep.  The first night of sleep was pretty rough, and included a family trip to the bathroom at 2am just to calm you down.

Love,
Mommy
