Dear Hudson,
Happy 13 months!  It's been a big month for you.  You took your first steps on July 4th and are becoming more adventurous each day.  It's so fun to see you learn new things and explore everything.  You're such a people watcher.

Dear Hudson,
A new friend was born today.  Evelyn Elizabeth Sonntag was born this morning.  Her mommy and daddy had been waiting a long time for her to make her arrival but she is finally here!  You got to meet her in the hospital.  You thought it was fun playing with her bed while we held her.  She's so cute and I know you two are going to be great friends.

Dear Hudson,
We got to celebrate your 2nd 4th of July with our friends at the Cheney's house.  We didn't make it until the fireworks but we still had a lot of fun.  You also took your very first steps while we were there!!!! It won't be long before you are walking everywhere!

katie and james get married

Dear Hudson,
You got to attend your 2nd wedding.  Katie and James tied the knot up in Evergreen, CO.  You were super cute in your khaki pants and button down shirt. We had a bit of excitement on the way there when you threw up in the car.  Guess you get a little car sick on those winding roads. What a trooper you were, letting Mommy and Daddy stay for the whole dance.  We had a couple of family dances but for one song, you pushed Daddy away and only wanted to dance with Mommy.  (It made me think of dancing with you at your wedding.)  You eventually fell asleep in Mommy's arms.
