Dear Hudson,
Grandma Vicki, Grandma Teri and Aryanna came out to visit us for a week.  They camped up in Woodland Park while they were here.  There was a pool at the campground which you really enjoyed swimming in.  We also went to the zoo, which was fun.  You had lots of fun playing with Aryanna.

trouble

Dear Hudson,

You are surrounded by little girls, but thankfully you have Corbin to partner up with. I think you to are going to be trouble... I was watching you two last night during small group for about 20 minutes and at the end, I was exhausted. Now that you're both mobile, it is non stop moving for you two. One of you would crawl one way and then as soon as I got that one back, the other one was crawling somewhere else. Corbin loves your hair and sometimes tries to "attack" you, but you take it ok. I think you two are going to be great friends! And I'm so thankful to have Holly to share stories with of being moms of boys.

Dear Hudson,
You are 1! How did that happen?  This year has gone by so fast.  You are such a sweet little boy and I am so blessed to be your mama.  It is so fun to watch you grow and change.  It's hard to remember you as a little newborn who didn't open your eyes.  Now you are so full of energy and into everything.  Even though it's been hard on me to see you grow into a boy, I love seeing your personality coming out more and more each day.

birthday party

Dear Hudson,

We had a little birthday party with all of your friends the Saturday before your birthday.  Unfortunately, you woke up with a fever and didn't feel good at all.  It seemed like you were teething because you were pretty drooly and cranky and clingy all day.  We all managed to have fun and you just hung out with mom and dad and watched it all.  Thanks to all your friends for coming and for your great new toys.

pagosa springs

Dear Hudson,
Oma and Opa came to visit you for a week.  We had so much fun with them.  We went to the zoo and ate at some of our favorite restaurants.  They also watched one morning while I had to work.  Then, we spent a long weekend in Pagosa Springs.  We got to go to the hot springs (which were hot!) and see lots of animals.  You had so much fun playing with Oma and Opa.  It's a good thing we get to see them again in just 6 weeks!
