happy halloween

 Dear Hudson,
We had lots of fun celebrating Halloween this year.  We went to the pumpkin patch on a very windy day.  You were determined to get a little pumpkin, which was hard to do.  You and Daddy did several Halloween things while Mommy was at work.  You made pumpkin cookies and carved and painted pumpkins.  For Halloween, you were a skeleton.  We went to Alice's house for dinner and then did trick or treating around her neighborhood.  You were quite the fan of getting candy.
Love,
Mommy

Aunt Patti's Wedding

Dear Hudson,
In October, we went back to Wisconsin for Aunt Patti and Uncle Ron's Wedding.  We had such a fun week.  You were a great helper, helping Oma and Patti get things ready for the wedding.  You did such a great job as the ring bearer.  We practiced a few times before the ceremony and you took your job very seriously.  Even when Lila, the flower girl, didn't walk down right away,  you carried the pillow right to Daddy.  We had lots of fun dancing with you at the reception.  You had a fever and weren't feeling the best, but took a little nap in Mommy's arms and then wanted to keep dancing.  Grandma Vicki came down for a quick visit, and you enjoyed playing in the leaves.  We went on a brewery tour with Oma and Opa.  You're quite the fan of rootbeer.  Mommy and Daddy snuck away for an evening while you stayed with Oma and Opa.  We went back to Whitewater so Daddy could speak at Crusade.  Such a fun week celebrating!
Love,
Mommy
