Trip to Wisconsin Part 3

Dear Hudson & Miles,
After a fun week with Oma and Opa, we went up to see Grandma Vicki and Grandma Teri for the weekend.  Hudson loved driving the electric car and kicking the soccer ball outside.  We spent most of the rest of the weekend playing board games.  On Sunday, we took Grandma Vicki out to breakfast for Mother's Day and for her 60th birthday.
I then flew back on my own with just the 2 of you.  Thankfully they let Oma come to the gate with us.  You boys did fantastic!!! You're such great travelers.
Love,
Mommy

Trip to Wisconsin Part 2

Dear Hudson and Miles,
While Oma and Opa had to work, we had some fun on our own.  We went to Mommy's friend Jess' house and met Miranda there.  Hudson had lots of fun playing with the Collier boys and Miles and Reid became quick friends.  So many boys!!!!!

The next day we went to the Milwaukee County Zoo.  It was fun to see a different zoo.  Hudson was a bit disappointed that there were only 2 giraffes.  We really liked the grizzly bears.  The best part of the zoo was the train ride that went around the zoo.

Love,
Mommy

Trip to Wisconsin Part 1

Dear Hudson & Miles
We went back to Wisconsin to spend a week with family.  Both of you did fantastic on the plane ride.  The first weekend was lots and lots of family time at Oma & Opa's.  People came over to meet Miles.  Hudson spent most of the weekend playing with Gavin and Ava.  There was a family baseball game in the back yard.
Daddy flew back to Colorado on Monday, but we got to stay for the rest of the week.  Aunty Nancy took us shopping at Kohls and Hudson spent lots and lots of time playing with Oma.

Miles' baby dedication

Dear Miles
You were supposed to be dedicated in January, but you were just getting out of the hospital from being sick so we postponed it until May, which turned out to be fun because you were dedicated with Baby Lucy.  We prayed over you at church Saturday night (thanks Sonntags for coming) and then had a party with all of K-group on Sunday to celebrate you and Lucy.
We chose Proverbs 4:11-13 for you and pray that it will be true for your life.

Proverbs 4:11-13

New International Reader's Version (NIRV)
11 I guide you in the way of wisdom.
I lead you along straight paths.
12 When you walk, nothing will slow you down.
When you run, you won’t trip and fall.
13 Hold on to my teaching. Don’t let it go.
Guard it well. It is your life.

month 5

Dear Miles
Another month gone.  April was filled with a crazy amount of snow, time with Grandpa, and lots of new things like the exasaucer and johnny jump up.  You love to watch big brother all the time and he's liking you more and more each day.  He has started "playing" with you and you just love to hear him talk. You also started teething this month (already!) so lots of chewing on your hands and our fingers.  It's interrupted your naps a bit but you're still a great sleeper at night.  At the beginning of May you got to go on your first airplane ride.  You are an excellent flyer.  Oh man, I can't believe how much I love you!

Weight: 14lbs 2 oz
 Height: 25 inches
Clothing Size: 0-3 month with a few 3-6 month sleepers
Diaper Size: 2, but cloth all the time except for at night
Favorite Activity: chewing on Sofie the Giraffe
Sleeping:  just up once at night.  you still take 4-5 naps a day.  2 short ones in the morning a longer afternoon nap and then usually one more in the evening.  I'm thinking it's about time to consolidate those morning ones.
Eating: your appetite seems to have increased this month.  or nursing helps your teeth feel better.  you're easily distracted when eating.
What You're Up To: rolling from back to belly, saying "ggggg", lots of laughs, watching brother all the time, chewing on everything
