Dear Hudson, Your puppy is very confused about all the new things coming into her house. She is especially concerned about what is going on in her room. We keep telling her that it is Baby Hudson's room now, but I don't think she gets it yet. Why do we have a new chair? Is this a new bed for me? Looks comfy! Love, Mom

Dear Hudson, I have great news! There is a Taco Johns in Colorado Springs. You see, while in Wisconsin at Christmas, all I wanted was Potato Oles. I had them a few times and made Daddy find them in Nebraska on our way back. Just this week I was thinking about how I could get some more in a few weeks when we go back. Today, as I was driving around with Melissa, I saw a Taco Johns. I got so excited and of course we had to stop. The Potato Oles were so yummy. This could turn into quite a bad thing. Good thing I didn't discover this earlier in the pregnancy. Love, Mom

Dear Hudson, Today I went shopping for some things for you. Not that I really need them, but it was fun. I went to a couple of thrift stores and found some really cute stuff. I'm sorry in advance that most of your clothes may end up having doggies on them. It's just so cute and so little. I am beginning to embrace the blue that will soon invade the house. Dear Hudson, Sometimes I wish you were here already. I'm just ready to hold you. You have lots of growing to do, though, so you should stay put for awhile. This week I started feeling some braxton hicks contractions. The first one woke me up from a deep sleep. They haven't been too bad yet, just kind of crazy. I wonder what it feels like for you. I bought you a present today at Barnes and Noble. I was missing your dad so I bought you this book.

I can't wait for him to read it to you. I may make him start reading it while you are in my tummy. You will love the way he reads the whiney dog who says "nnn-nnn-nnn".
