Dear Hudson,
We had such a fun morning celebrating your 2nd birthday with Oma, Opa and Patti and a few friends.  Of course, we had a truck theme.  I don't even think you really noticed, but that's ok.  You did pretty good sharing your toys, but mostly played with Oma and Patti.  Your friends got you some pretty great presents, all of which had to do with cars or trucks.  They know you well!

Oma & Opa & Patti (part 2)

Dear Hudson,
At the end of the week, we got to have lots of birthday fun.  First we celebrated Auntie Patti's birthday on Thursday by going out to dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse.  Yum Yum.  Then, on Friday, we celebrated your 2nd birthday.  We went for a hike in Cheyenne Canyon.  Then we went swimming at Oma & Opa's hotel and then out for dinner at Old Chicago's.  You were such a trooper at dinner.  You ate a ton of food and kept it together, even being up until 10.

Oma & Opa come to visit (part 1)

Dear Hudson,
Oma and Opa came to spend a week with us for your birthday.  We had so much fun.  You loved to play with Oma and Opa and your trucks.  We played outside and watched Opa and Daddy build your new playset.  Opa taught you a new trick, "knuckles." 
Auntie Patti came on Tuesday and we all went to a Sky Sox Game.  On Wednesday, we took them to the zoo.  Oma had lots of fun feeding the giraffes with you and Patti liked feeding the birds with you (mommy did not).
